Our Home Hydroponic Garden combines two hydroponic techniques in one system.
The Nutrient Film Technique section can host 128 to 200 plants (depending on your spacing options) to grow your leafy crops and your trellis crops and then use the Ebb & Flow section to produce up to 1820 seedlings or use it to grow your root crops in crates filled with vermiculite.
Grow flowers, veggies, seedlings or even your medicinal plants in this system that is easy to use and very forgiving in terms of maintenance and upkeep.
Power consumption is low. You can use a small inverter system for backup power. The Ebb & flow section have a timer build in to the controller. The system comes complete with all the gullies, good quality adjustable aluminium structure, irrigations, pumps, hydraulic control and the controller.
The system can be transported on a standard bakkie. Bring along some ropes, a red flag and maybe a sponge mattress to protect the roof of you bakkie. 3m trailers also work well for transport.
We provide training if you collect the system.
You need some fertilisers (Kynoch Alpha and Beta), phosphoric acid, a pH meter, EC meter and some calibrations solutions (pH 4,01, pH7,01, EC1413, Cleaning solution and Storage Solution), a 5kg kitchen scale and some plastic containers to get going. Contact us for more details on this.
The system is easy to install and setup. You need a 13 spanner, an 8 spanner and a level to do so.
You will have a fun time growing your own clean, chemical free veggies. Teach your kids now already to do hydroponics. Become independent.
